"Hello Dr. Skouras,

I've been wearing glasses for 30 years. I met Dr Skouras 2 years ago and he recommended that I go for the operation as the best solution for my eyes. I was at the doctors office for about 1 1/2 hours, however the actual LASIK surgery only took approximately 20 minutes (total for both eyes). The surgery was virtually painless. There was some discomfort that evening, however it was over within a few hours. 18 months after the operation I can say the only side effect was minor eye dryness which I experienced for about 6 months, easy to get over with regular eye drops when needed.

Today, the 20/20 vision is stable and I do not have any problem seeing or driving after dark. Overall the experience was totally positive and I consider it one of the best choices I made.
